Iftar at Secret Recipe
Last weekend my father brought us to Secret Recipe at @l@m@nd@ for our Iftar. It has been ages since I was there. No, make that centuries ago!
Anyway, I shared a plate of Fish and Chips with my sister. I took an affinity to my mother's Chicken Cordon Blu. And for desserts, we had Brownies topped with Vanilla Ice-cream. And not to forget Smarties Sweet Treats. Yum-meh...! Everything was yummy-licious. Well, except for the cold Rose Syrup drink - sorry, not my kind of taste.
As usual, my mother has an agenda of her own. And as usual we were chaperoned by my reluctant father to the toy shops.
My mother bought me a pretty yellow dress for the coming Aidilfitri. When I tried it on I felt like a princess with the puffy sleeves and 'skirt kembang'. We got some cute onesies and jumpers for our baby. And a cute pink dress for Fatimah, our neighbour.
Sigh.. that could be our last trip there. I doubt we get to go there in the near future. I guessed that explained why my father nicknamed my mother '...macam kambing terlepas...'.
Heheheh...
